SVHS Academies
The Academy of Information Technology is part of the National Academy Foundation (NAF) and is in its 6th year at SVHS.
The Cisco Networking Academy has been at SVHS since 2009. There are currently three courses offered in the academy.

Member of graduating class is awarded a full scholarship to UMBC under the NSA Scholarship program! Way to go, I.T. EAGLES!!
Class of 2011 at NAF Graduation in May
On May 19, 2011, fourteen seniors became the second graduation class of AOIT graduates from Seneca Valley High School. The event was held at Northwest High School. Mrs. Elizabeth Bell, AOIT Coordinator and Mrs. Barbara Weyman, Intership Coordinator attended. Shaking hands and offering congratulations on stage were Ms. Judith P. Scott, Assistant Principal and Mr. Jeffrey Baker, Academies Coordinator. One Student was awarded a $2,000 National Academy Foundation scholarship. Congratulations!
